Much More than Convention

An Evening at the Aquarium

This year’s Diocesan Convention will have a packed Friday night. The Tennessee Aquarium (1 Broad St.) will be hosting a reception toward the close of business on Friday, from 6:00-8:00pm. Get ready for appetizers and a self-guided tour of the ocean side of the aquarium. A wine and beer cash bar will also be available.

Make sure to grab a wrist band from one of the tellers in the narthex or by the nave doors after Eucharist before you head to the aquarium. This will give you access to appetizers and the tour.

Afterwards, visit one of Chattanooga’s many restaurants. We’ve tried out many, you’re sure to find one that will hit the spot.

Highlight at High Point

Youth at this year’s convention will enjoy a lock-in at High Point (219 Broad St). There’s plenty of time to stop by the Tennessee Aquarium to see the exhibits.

The cost for the lock-in is $25.

A special early morning Eucharist will be offered at 5:00 am! Those interested may join.

Have questions about the lock-in? Make sure to send Jody Davis an email.
